Love Nutrient Barry's Cafe @ Bishop Street, Georgetown, Penang.

The retro-sleek pattern of Barry's Cafe vies for attention, particularly when the cafe is surrounded past times heaps of fiscal institutions too offices. While the contrast sure enough appeals to the public, the card is as interesting. The commons cafe fare is component subdivision of the card but amusingly, in that location are to a greater extent than or less Oriental options similar Penang Char Koay Teow or stir-fried Japanese Udon as well. On weekdays' lunch, the cafe offers "Set Lunch" at the cost of "ala-carte"... though the offering is exclusively valid for orders of Western mains (no Set Lunch for you lot if you lot are ordering Char Koay Teow). In the evenings or weekends, the "ala-carte" remains "ala-carte", no Set parcel would endure offered.  New house with enough of nutrient options, the Set Lunch advertisement yields nifty values; worth checking out if you lot are inwards the vicinity.

Bangers & Mash (Rm 19.90)

Mushroom Swiss Cheese Pulled Chicken Burger (Rm 25.90)

Fish Burger (Rm 19.90)

Stir Fried Japanese Udon with Chicken too Prawns (Rm 18.90)

Bangers & Mash seems to endure i of their pop choices alongside the younger crowd. two foot-long Sausages were served on a bed of Mashed with a side of Green Peas... doused over luscious gravy. The Mashed was nicely done... silky polish with creamy texture; the Sausages were non shabby either... with the much-desired bouncy meatiness to it... pretty generous share to justify the cost tag. The Oriental send on of stir-fried Japanese Udon was less-impressive. The texture was somewhat strange as compared to the classic, fatty Japanese noodles. It was only a plate of ordinary stir-fried noodles with zilch to shout out over with. Equally disappointingly average were the Burgers... though the pulled Chicken version came slightly to a greater extent than superior than the Fish variation; they did non actually hitting us.
